Should You Use a 3 & 4 Iron, or Hybrid Golf Clubs?

Should the average golfer carry a 3 iron and a 4 iron, or use hybrid clubs instead? Greg asked Maria Palozola, of http://www.mygolfinstructor.com, this question.

Maria suggests that most players definitely use hybrids over longer irons because of the following reasons:

– A hybrid is a perfect mix of an iron and a fairway wood

– Hybrids have lower centers of gravity to get the ball in the air

– Hybrids have a wider sole for a lower chance of digging in and hitting it fat

– You still get the loft of an iron

All these advantages make hybrids easier to hit than the longer irons.
